  1. Racism in academic medicine – yawn! tell me something new. You just have to look at any NIH study section, their decision outcomes, funding distribution, any manuscript acceptance in top journals – and you will realize how rigged the system is, at each and every step, for a POC. The height of the privilege is that, this is not even accepted, let alone discussed, as an issue! Academic medicine has been, and will be in foreseeable future, a white boy’s club!
